Supports JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF

Tip: Upload two or more images, then drag the thumbnails to arrange their order.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add two or more images

Drop your images into the box above. They appear as thumbnails you can drag to reorder — the merge follows exactly the order you see.

  2. 2

    Choose the layout

Stack images vertically for long screenshots and chat logs, or place them side by side for before/after comparisons. Add optional spacing and a white, black, or transparent background.

  3. 3

    Merge and download

One click stitches everything into a single high-resolution image — PNG when you use a transparent background, JPG otherwise.

Why use ImagePilot?

Drag-and-drop ordering

Rearrange images by dragging thumbnails (or use the arrows on touch screens) until the sequence is exactly right.

Smart centering

Images of different sizes are automatically centered along the merge axis, so mixed-size batches still look tidy.

Spacing and backgrounds

Optional gaps and background colors keep stitched screenshots readable instead of running together.

Original resolution kept

Images are combined at their native pixel dimensions — nothing is scaled down during the merge.

Frequently asked questions

How do I combine two photos side by side?

Upload both photos, switch the direction to Horizontal, and click Merge Images. They are placed next to each other at full resolution, vertically centered, with optional spacing between them — ideal for before/after comparisons.

How do I stitch screenshots into one long image?

Upload the screenshots, keep the direction on Vertical, and drag the thumbnails into reading order. Merging produces one continuous image, which is the standard way to share long chats or full-page captures.

What format is the merged image?

PNG when the background is set to transparent (so transparency is preserved), and high-quality JPG when you pick a white or black background.

Is there a limit to how many images I can merge?

No fixed limit — the practical ceiling is your browser's canvas size, which comfortably handles dozens of typical screenshots or photos.

Do my images get uploaded when merging?

No. The merge is drawn on a canvas inside your browser and the finished file is saved directly from there. Nothing is transmitted to any server.
